Ibanez has had a tremendous start to August. In six games, he is hitting .458 with two home runs and 15 RBIs. He is having a month to remember and should be starting in every league.

The speeding outfielder is having a great season under the radar. A definite keeper for keeper leagues, finished July hitting .321. He is doing very well in August and might start to take away time from OF Carlos Gomez, who has struggle since June.

Danks is among the A.L. leaders in ERA with a 3.21. In his last seven decisions he is 4-0 and has a WHIP of 1.21 for the entire year. He is schedule to pitch twice in week 20 making him an excellent start.

Nady has been another player that has surprised this year. In New York he has blossom into a great player. In his last six games he is hitting .478 with three home runs and eight RBIs. He is on fire and continue to start him in all leagues.

He finished July under the radar. His totals of seven home runs and 20 RBIs are remarkable. He hit .333 and stole six bases in July. He has continued this production in August and is a must start in all leagues.

July was a great month for Lopez and his fantasy owners. In 24 games, he hit .311 with three home runs and drove in 18 RBIs. He has continued his success in August and is a very reliable second baseman. He is having a career year in an awful year in Seattle but he is the only bright spot.

Another player that has improved each month this season, in June he hit .190. However, in July he hit .311 with five home runs and 26 RBIs in 25 games. He is among the elite 3B in RBIs (70) and has 15 home runs so far this year. Look for him to have over 25 home runs and 100 RBIs.

He continues to amaze everyone with his play on the field. In August he has been unbelievable. In only five games in August, he has six home runs and eight RBIs. He has been an incredible find for fantasy owners and is a must start in week 20.

After having a great outing against the Tigers going 6 1/3 innings and only surrendering two runs, he followed that performance in his next start by only pitching 4 innings. He is scheduled to pitch twice in week 20 at home, where he is 4-3 with a 4.78 ERA. Look for other options in week 20.

Sanchez has struggle over the last month. In his last six starts he has an ERA of 7.96 and is 0-4. He was a definite sleeper coming into the season but has regressed since the start in July. He is schedule to pitch twice and should not be trusted.

It is amazing to see the decline of Gary Sheffield. He came into this season with the potential to regain his form of old, but has just looked old. He is not the player he once was but can still contribute. Do not trust Sheffield until he can prove he can sustain weeks of performance.

Kotchman should have a solid career in Atlanta but the Braves did not receive enough in the trade with the Angels. Kotchman is an average fantasy player at best. He is worth owning in NL-only leagues but should not be in mixed leagues.

Oswalt has not been the player many expected this season. He has been plagued with inconsistency. He is last six games he is 3-1 with a 3.86 ERA. Those numbers are exceptable but in his last two starts he is 0-1 with a 6.60 ERA. Look for him to be on the bench in week 20.

In his last 23 games, Uggla has only three home runs and nine RBIs. He has seen his production decline severally. He is in slump and should not be trusted in week 20.

A very disappointing start to his young career, in 2006 in only 109 games he had 18 home runs and 60 RBIs. Last year he took a step back hitting only seven in 144 games and this year he has 10 home runs. It does not look that he will ever regain his power form. Look for him to be on the bench.

For the season Atkins has 15 home runs with 68 RBIs. These are very below his average and not what fantasy owners wanted when they drafted him. Melvin Mora has similar numbers and was no where near the draft position Atkins went. His average of .315 before the break is now .294 after the break.
